These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lane Garage (the "App"), developed by an independent developer ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Lane Garage. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Lane Garage lets you catalog a diecast model car collection (Garage), browse a reference catalog of models by brand (Archive/Encyclopedia), maintain a Wishlist, and participate in a Community feature where you can post, comment, follow other users, and share photos of models you own (Showcase). Some features award Points for approved contributions; the Points Shop, where points may become redeemable, is still in development and points currently have no cash value and cannot be redeemed, transferred, or exchanged for money.
You retain ownership of the content you post (photos, comments, posts, submissions). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display that content within the App as necessary to operate the service.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. You agree not to post content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, misleading, or otherwise objectionable. Showcase photo submissions are reviewed before becoming visible to other users; other content (posts, comments) is not pre-screened but may be removed after the fact.
We may remove any content, and suspend or terminate any account, that violates these Terms or our content guidelines, at our discretion and without prior notice. Use the in-app "Report" option on any post, comment, or user profile to flag content or behavior that violates these Terms; you may also block a user to stop seeing their posts and comments in your own feed. See our Support page for more on reporting.
Lane Garage is an independent collector's reference tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the vehicle manufacturers, diecast brands, or model producers referenced in the catalog. All manufacturer and brand names, logos, and model names remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification and cataloging purposes.
Aside from user-generated content and third-party marks referenced in Section 4, the App itself — including its design, code, and original catalog data — is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the App outside of normal personal use.
If you believe content in the App infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us as described in Section 10.
The App, including catalog data such as pricing and specifications, is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Model information is community-sourced and reviewed on a best-effort basis; we do not guarantee its accuracy or completeness. The App requires an internet connection and depends on third-party services (including Supabase) for authentication, storage, and Community features — availability may be interrupted by maintenance or outages outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data or content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or by contacting us. Deletion permanently removes your profile, Garage collection, Wishlist, and Community posts, subject to the retention described in our Privacy Policy. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users within the App and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
